Peter Parker < Peter B Parker

!!!! Ok look at that! Peter B Parker, who’s older and has been doing this much longer has 3 main things different:

- his nose is crooked, it’s been broken so many times at this point it can’t be reset anymore, his job has visibly weathered and hurt him.

-the lighting isn’t as dramatic, why? Because the shiny “I’m the hero” energy is gone. He treats what he does like it’s what he has to do. He isn’t happy or in the spot light anymore, it’s just what he does. The drama is gone. He isn’t glorifying what he does anymore and doesn’t care for other people glorifying it either.

-he isn’t smirking, he isn’t excited, there’s no spark, he doesn’t have a drive to fight he’s just fighting now. He’s worn down. He’s tired. This is seriously now, not fun. He knows it needs to be done but he isn’t happy he needs to do it anymore.

Peter B Parker is tired he doesn’t have the stars in his eyes like RIPeter, he’s older and the character differences visibly show.

Also, what I love is that there is every indication RIPeter would have turned out exactly like Peter B Parker if he had lived.

He’s only “perfect” because he died while everything was going great.

I feel sad when people somehow make it that Peter Parker was less than Peter B Parker.

They’re the same person. The difference is (aside from eye color and the extra B in the name)— Peter B has ten years on Peter Parker. If he lived as long as Peter B he would be the same, and feel as beaten down too.
